Pinsents has named four new corporate partners and a new banking and finance partner. The five new partners come from the firm’s London and Leeds offices and have a mix of corporate finance, private equity and banking specialist expertise. The four corporate partners are Philip Goldsborough (Leeds), Tom Leman (London), Darius Lewington (London) and Peter Wood (Leeds.) The new banking partner is Louise Duffy (Leeds.) The promotions bring the number of corporate partners at Pinsents in the UK to 34. As of May 1, Pinsents span its banking & finance team out of its national corporate group to form a practice group in its own right, reflecting the firm’s sector focus on financial services. The new banking & finance group, which comprises banking and corporate recovery specialists, has 13 partners and 30 other lawyers.
