MVision secured 33 new mandates between October 2007 and September 2008. Of these, 19 were new relationships with GPs and 14 were repeat mandates from existing clients. Over 1,200 investors committed to funds raised by MVision in 2008 for a total value of US$35.6bn.

In 2008 those clients included: Apax Europe VII, InvestIndustrial IV and Waterland IV. MVision’s wide-ranging support for EQT has supported the group’s expansion of its product offerings from a single fund to a family of funds that generate superior returns within their respective strategies.

MVision helped EQT launch dedicated funds that preserve the core characteristics of EQT and leverages the firm’s in-house knowledge to ensure each new product builds rather than dilutes value. MVision has worked with EQT to achieve successful closes on EQT IV, EQT V, EQT Mezzanine, EQT Opportunity, EQT Greater China II and EQT Expansion Capital II. Most recently MVision has worked with EQT to launch EQT Infrastructure, the first dedicated Infrastructure fund focused on Northern and Eastern Europe.

It has developed innovative structures and terms packages to ensure that expansion enhances rather than dilutes existing business.
