BioSante Pharmaceuticals has named Robert Schrepfer as vice president of new business development and contract manufacturing. BioSante also named Daniel Raynor to its board. Prior to his new appointment, Schrepfer was a BioSante board member. Raynor is a managing partner at the Argentum Group, a private equity firm he co-founded. Headquartered in Baudette, Minnesota, BioSante Pharmaceuticals is a provider of specialty branded and generic pharmaceutical products.

Clinipace Worldwide has named Mark Ubert as CFO. In this role, Ubert leads all aspects of the company’s financial operations including accounting, financial reporting, treasury and tax teams. Ubert has more than 25 years of domestic and international financial management experience, including five years in Tokyo serving as CFO of Quintiles Transnational Japan K.K. Backed by NXT Capital, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, Hatteras Venture Partners, Brooke Private Equity, Osage Venture Partners and Mario Family Partners, Clinipace is a digital contract research organization in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Omaha, Nebraska-based Cosentry has named Brad Hokamp as its new CEO. Hokamp will also join the company’s board of directors.Previously, Hokamp worked for Savvis as a senior vice president and general manager of the hosting and colocation business unit. Cosentry, a portfolio company of TA Associates, is a provider of data services.

CROSSMARK, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus, has named John Compton to its board of directors. Compton is a former president of PepsiCo and CEO of PepsiCo Americas Foods. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, CROSSMARK is a provider of sales and marketing services to the consumer goods sector.

The Capital Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization has named T.J. Jubeir, the founder and managing partner of private equity firm Capital Partners, to its board of directors. The Entrepreneurs Organization is a global business network that has over 8,000 members in 122 chapters and 35 countries. The Capital Chapter is based in Washington, D.C.

GENBAND, a Frisco, Texas-based provider of mutimedia networking and software solutions, has named its executive chairman, David Walsh, as the company’s new president and CEO. Walsh replaces Charlie Vogt, who according to GENBAND, “has accepted a new CEO leadership role.” Prior to joining GENBAND, Walsh was the managing director at One Equity Partners, the private investment division of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association has added two private equity executives to its board. They are Connie Chan, a partner at Andreessen Horowitz and Eric Chen, a managing director at Silver Lake. Also, Vivian Wang, a partner at Deloitte Touche, and Lilly Huang, director of Silicon Valley Bank’s Global Gateway, join HYSTA’s management team. HYSTA is a U.S.-based association for Chinese professionals.

LCMS Solutions has named Dale L. Ziegler as CEO. Ziegler previously worked as a managing director with Carlisle Enterprises, a La Jolla, California-based private equity investment firm. LCMS is a provider of clinical diagnostic information to doctors.

MCW Energy Group Ltd has named Sergey Grechishkin to its board of directors, replacing Martin J. Doane. Grechishkin is chairman of the investment committee of Redline Capital Management SA and previously headed up the private equity, sales and trading retail brokerage operations of Russia’s KIT Finance Group. MCW Energy is a Toronto-based holding company involved in fuel distribution and the development of oil sands recovery technology.

Multimedia Plus has closed an unspecified amount of private founding with unnamed individual investors. It has also named Ernest Pomerantz to its board of directors. Pomerantz is chairman of StoneWater Capital, an alternative asset management firm focused on developing Asia and emerging markets. Based in New York, Multimedia Plus is a provider of interactive training programs.

Red Book Connect has named Arnab Sur as senior vice president of global sales. Sur previously served as global sales vice president at AT&T Cloud Solutions. Red Book Connect is a global provider of cloud-based solutions and is backed by TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equity platform of TPG Capital, a global private investment firm.

United Recovery Systems, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has named Kevin Keleghan as president and CEO. Keleghan succeeds Jim Kelleher who retired from the positions. However, Kelleher will continue to serve as an active board member at URS.

Vantage Data Centers, which is backed by Silver Lake, has named Sureel Choksi as president and chief executive officer. Choksi succeeds Jim Trout, who has transitioned into a new role as founder and chief technology officer, the company said. Choksi is a senior member of Silver Lake’s value creation team. Vantage Data, of Santa Clara, California, is a data center services provider.
