Avantor Performance Materials, a portfolio company of New Mountain Capital, has named Michael Stubblefield as CEO. Previously, Stubblefield worked at McKinsey & Co’s chemicals practice where he served as a senior expert. Based in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, Avantor is a provider of high-performance chemistries.

Creative Edge Nutrition has appointed Michael K. Clark to its board of directors. Clark is the CEO of MKC Capital Partners. Creative Edge Nutrition is a maker of nutritional supplements.

Global Digital Solutions has named Thomas W. Janes to its advisory board. Janes is the founder of Kerry Capital Advisors. Based in West Palm Beach, Florida, Global Digital Solutions is a provider of cyber arms manufacturing.

Investment Metrics, which is backed by Capital Resource Partners, has named Thomas Carlson as vice president to lead sales and marketing. Carlson spent more than 17 years at Morningstar Inc, including nine years with Ibbotson Associates. Also, the firm has added Gerry Mintz to its board of directors. Mintz is the founder and managing partner of Percepta Partners, a marketing advisory firm. Based in Darien, Connecticut, Investment Metrics is a provider of investment performance analytics, manager research and reporting services for investment consultants, wealth advisers, institutional investors and asset managers.

Fred Thiel, former managing partner of the software IT group at Triton Pacific Capital Partners, has been named chief executive officer of ad tech company Local Corp. Thiel has been chairman of Local’s board, and will continue in that role as well. Thiel also has been a senior adviser to Graham Partners. Michael Sawtell, Local’s president and chief operating officer, will depart as the company has eliminated his roles.

Luxury spirits company Old Nassau Imports has named D. Ross Arthurs as CEO. Arthurs succeeds Old Nassau Imports CEO and co-founder Malcolm M. Lloyd, who died on April 24. Prior to joining Old Nassau Imports, Arthurs was a partner at Princeton Investment Partners.

PMV Pharmaceuticals, which is backed by InterWest Partners, has appointed Steven Holtzman to its board of directors. Holtzman is the executive vice president of corporate development for Biogen Idec. PMV Pharmaceuticals is focused on developing pathway modulators that treat cancer and infectious diseases.

Symphony Performance Health, which is owned by Symphony Technology Group, has named Dr. David S. Hanekom as chief medical officer. Hanekom is the former chief medical officer and vice president of medical management of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, Symphony Performance Health is a provider of information, analytics and technology for health network clients.

Westone Laboratories, which is owned by CID Capital, has hired Jason Lockwood as president and CEO. Lockwood has experience in retail, consumer electronics and healthcare industries. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Westone is a maker of custom earplugs and earpieces.
