PowerDsine, established in 1994, is now one of the market leaders of Power over LAN (Local Area Networks). This technology integrates data, voice and power on standard Ethernet infrastructure. The company has received financial backing from its existing shareholders, DB Capital Venture Partners, Dain Rauscher Wessels Partners, and Robertson Stephens Partners. DB Venture Partners led the deal investing over £10 million.
