Private Advisors appoints three MDs

Private Advisors, a US-headquartered private equity and hedge fund investment firm, has expanded it London office with the addition of three managing directors. Matthew Baker, Jennifer Buckley and Rickard Fischerstrom will all join the UK team, which is led by Jens Bisgaard-Frantzen, the former CEO and managing partner of ATP Private Equity Partners.

Matthew Baker joins from his new boss’ old firm, ATP, where he was responsible for all legal and tax affairs including negotiating terms and conditions governing portfolio funds, commercial due diligence, and liaising with tax advisors on an investment by investment basis. At Private Advisors, he will be responsible for private equity manager selection and monitoring, due diligence, and oversight of legal and tax affairs.

Jennifer Buckley joins the team following eight years at GE Equity in London, where she was the head of the EMEA private equity group and oversaw the team responsible for commitments to private equity funds and co-investments. Prior to GE, Buckley spent two years with Goldman Sachs in fixed income capital markets. At Private Advisors UK, Buckley is responsible for private equity manager sourcing,

Rickard Fischerstrom is responsible for European business development and investor relations. Before joining, he held a similar role at Lazard Asset Management. Prior to Lazard, he headed European institutional business development and client service at UBS Alternative & Quantitative Investments, specific to the firm’s fund of funds and single manager hedge fund businesses.
