Arle Capital Partners has expanded its senior team with the appointment of Hilary Ellis as HR director. Ellis will also join the supervisory board of Alma Consulting Group, an advisory business in cost reduction and optimization.

David Schroeder has joined Baird Capital Partners as an operating partner. He will be based in Milwaukee. In addition to his role at Baird, Schroeder is also a principal of Corvus Advisors where he provides executive level support in business planning and measurement, change management and strategy formulation. Baird Capital Partners is the buyout fund of Baird Private Equity.

Peter Liguori has joined The Carlyle Group as an operating executive for its telecommunications and media team, based in New York. Liguori was most recently chief operating officer of Discovery Communications.

General Electric Vice Chairman John Krenicki will join private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice at the end of the year, the firm said. GE said in July it planned to break its energy business into three stand-alone units later this year and that Krenicki, who headed the combined business, would be leaving the company at the end of 2012.

Akhil Puri has been named a director at KKR Capstone. Puri joins from TPG Capital, and will lead KKR Capstone’s engagements with KKR’s portfolio companies in India, the firm said.

New Capital Partners has added Ryan Berg, John Richmond and Chris Wright, and promoted Adam Cranford and Seton Marshall to the position of vice president. Richmond and Berg join NCP after recently completing their MBAs at the Darden Graduate School of Business. Wright joins after completing his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Cranford and Marshall both joined the firm in 2009. New Capital Partners has offices in Birmingham and Dallas.

Pharos Capital Group, a Dallas and Nashville-based private equity firm, has appointed Tina Hahn to be senior vice president of investor relations. Hahn will based in Los Angeles. Previously she was vice president of investor services at CityView.

Jonathan Bergman has joined New York-based multi-client family office TAG Associates as a managing director. Bergman comes to TAG from Palisades Hudson Financial Group, where he served as chief investment officer.
