Andrew P. Dempsey has joined Easterly Capital, a private investment firm founded by former Affiliated Managers Group chief financial officer Darrell Crate. Dempsey, former chief operating officer of Fortress Investment Group’s Permanent Capital Business Group, will be responsible for capital formation and business development.

Fortress Investment Group has hired Jeff Feig as a portfolio manager and co-CIO of the Fortress Macro Fund. He also will work as co-president of Fortress’s Liquid Markets business. Feig was previously Citigroup’s global head of developed markets foreign exchange and a senior manager at Citi.

Genstar Capital, a mid-market buyout shop based in San Francisco, has named Harry Totonis to its strategic advisory board. Previously, Totonis worked at Surescripts, where he served as president and CEO.

GTIS Partners, a real estate private equity firm headquartered in New York, has re-hired Amy Boyle as managing director and chief financial officer. Boyle replaces Grace Cheng, the former CFO. Prior to GTIS, Boyle worked as CFO of three publicly registered real estate investment trusts advised by American Realty Capital. Before, she was CFO for the Clarion Lion Properties Fund. From 2006 to 2009, Boyle worked as vice president and controller at GTIS Partners.

Private equity firm and real estate secondary manager Landmark Partners has named Jarrett Vitulli as a principal. Previously, Vitulli, who will be based in the firm’s New York City office, worked at UBS, where he was a managing director.

Peak Rock Capital has appointed Ryan Fitch as a senior vice president of the firm. Fitch was previously part of the business development team at Platinum Equity, where he was responsible for deal origination and managing strategic relationships with corporate sellers, investment banks and other intermediaries.

Power Capital Partners has hired Douglas Anderson as managing director and director of research and due diligence. Anderson will be responsible for leading investment research and project due diligence. Anderson has more than 30 years of experience in the power, energy and infrastructure sectors, most recently at two companies, Enerkem and agri.capital. Anderson also has worked at GE Capital as a managing director in structured finance group.

The Rohatyn Group, an independent investment firm focused on emerging markets, has hired Gustavo Eiben as a managing director. Previously, Eiben worked at Aureos Capital (now Abraaj Capital) where he was the head of North America investor relations.
