Robert Easton has taken over as chairman of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association. Easton, a managing director and co-head of Carlyle Europe Technology Partners, succeeds Richard Anton, partner at Amadeus Capital Partners. Simon Clark, managing partner of Fidelity Growth Partners Europe, becomes vice-chairman.

William H. Bohnsack Jr. has been promoted to president of Oak Hill Advisors, the multi-strategy asset manager announced. Bohnsack has served as the firm’s chief operating officer since 2001 and one of its four senior partners since 2005.

Rufus Rivers has been promoted to managing partner of mid-market private equity firm RLJ Equity Partners. Rivers joined RLJ Equity Partners from The Carlyle Group, where he was a managing director and co-founder of Carlyle Mezzanine Partners, a $436 million investment fund. Prior to founding Carlyle Mezzanine Partners, Rivers was a senior vice president and principal at TCW/Crescent Mezzanine.

TSG Consumer Partners has promoted Brian Krumrei to managing director and Jenny Baxter to principal. TSG Consumer Partners has more than $2.9 billion in funds under management, focused exclusively on the branded consumer sector.
