Clearbrook Global Advisors has named Timothy C. Ng to the newly created position of chief investment officer and Jay Tubianosa as chief risk officer. Also, the firm has promoted Mark Hong to head of research. In addition to his new position, Ng will continue in his role as chairman of Clearbrook’s investment committee.

Debevoise & Plimpton has promoted partners in its team. Jonathan Adler, Andrew M. Ahern, Michael Bolotin, Alexander R. Cochran, Courtney M. Dankworth, David A. Luigs, Natalie L. Reid and Edward M. Rishty will become partners of the firm, effective July 1.

Numet Manufacturing Techniques, which is owned by Kidd & Company, has promoted Mark Roscio to president and CEO. The company also promoted Scott Kokosa to chief financial officer. Based in Orange, Connecticut, Numet is a maker of precision metal components and assemblies for jet turbine engines.

Permira has named Brian Ruder as co-head of Permira’s global technology, media and telecommunications sector team. Ruder will co-head the TMT sector team with Richard Sanders. Ruder is a partner and head of the firm’s Menlo Park, California, office. Also, the company has promoted Nic Volpi to partner. Volpi first joined Permira’s New York office in 2004 before relocating to Menlo Park in 2011.

Real Mex, a portfolio company of Z Capital Partners and Tennenbaum Capital Partners, has promoted Rio Gueli to chief operating officer.  Gueli previously served as the firm’s executive vice president of operations. Headquartered in Cypress, California, Real Mex Restaurants is a Mexican restaurant chain.

Wells Fargo Capital Finance, a unit of Wells Fargo & Co, has named Patrick Simpson as business development officer for the mid-market loan origination team in New York. A former Marine, Simpson joined the company in 2005.
