Baird Private Equity has named Gordon Pan to the post of managing director. Pan, who has spent the past seven years as a partner with Baird Capital Partners, succeeds Paul Carbone, who recently joined the Pritzker Group. In addition, Scott Skie, Baird Private Equity’s chief administrative officer since 2005, has been promoted to chief operating officer. Aaron Rudberg, who joined Baird Private Equity in 2008, has been promoted to partner.
Citigroup‘s private bank has appointed Yvonne Siew as head of Asia real estate, replacing Quek Kwang Meng, Reuters reported. Siew has been with Citi Private Bank since 2005 and will continue to be based in Singapore reporting to Daniel O’Donnell, global head of private equity and real estate.
Green Courte Partners, a private equity real estate investment firm, has promoted Marnie Helfand to managing director and Jordan Kerger and Tom Jasica to vice president. Helfand will lead Green Courte’s capital markets and investor relations group. Kerger joined Green Courte as an associate in March 2008 and was promoted to senior associate in July 2010. Jasica joined Green Courte as a portfolio controller in November 2010.
Jit Sinha was promoted to general partner at growth equity firm JMI Equity, while Brian Hersman and Robert Nye were named principals. Sinha and Hersman each focus on software investments, while Nye targets the Internet sector. JMI Equity has offices in Baltimore and San Diego.
