As part of the reorganisation of its loan distribution business, RBS has combined its leveraged and investment-grade loan sales forces and created a syndicate function.
Lois Salter has been appointed to the newly created position of senior director and head of European loan sales. He will report to David Bassett, head of loan syndications. Salter moves from her role in loan origination at RBS.
Chris Parsons, previously head of European investment-grade loan sales, has been appointed senior director and head of European loan syndicate. Loan syndicate will focus on structured transactions, including project finance, shipping, infrastructure, property and others. Parsons will report to Declan McGrath, managing director and head of European corporate loan markets, and David Yeoman, managing director and head of European leveraged loan markets. McGrath and Yeoman will have responsibility for origination, syndicate and execution of loans, and will report to David Bassett. Chris Porter maintains his position as head of secondary trading.
