Santinon joins AMJPE

AMJPE has appointed Francesco Santinon to the Leeds office to lead the team. He will be in charge of AMJPE’s investment activity in Yorkshire and the North East, reporting to Gary Tipper who is head of investment for the English offices.

Santinon joins AMJPE from Close Brothers Private Equity (CBPE) in London, another mid-market private equity provider. At CBPE, he spent the last three years working on a number of new investments with a particular focus on transactions based in the North. Prior to this he was at Clydesdale Bank Equity in Glasgow, which has since become part of AMJPE. During three years there he completed investments in several successful businesses throughout the UK, as well as contributing to the overall growth of the business.

Santinon trained as a chartered accountant and spent four years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he gained experience across a range of disciplines.

Jonathan Diggines, managing director, AMJPE, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Francesco to the team. His excellent experience of the private equity industry combined with his extensive knowledge of the market place in the North of England will prove very valuable to our Leeds office as well as to AMJPE as a whole.”
