TC3 Costa Mesa, Calif. Provides services for medical claim payers and administrators. The deal held a first close last September, and a final close in late May. Health Care B $2.3 Ticonderoga Capital.
eCredit Inc. Dedham, Mass. Provides Web-based credit and collections services. Originally an enterprise software developer, eCredit raised six rounds of capital totaling about $80M before its recapitalization in September 2001. Last year, company raised $9M, in what the company called a B2 round, from Sterling, Apex and ICG. Bluefire Security Technologies Inc. Baltimore Provides security software for wireless handheld devices. Company has raised $17M in total VC funding since its 2001 inception.
