Global placement agent and advisory firm Atlantic-Pacific Capital has appointed Brian Wade as partner. Wade will continue to work closely with institutional investors in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States, including public and corporate pension plans, endowments, foundations, financial institutions, fund-of-funds and family offices.

ING Investment Management has appointed Hans Stoter as chief investment officer and member of the international management committee. Stoter has been with ING Investment Management since 1998 and succeeds Mark Weber, who has returned to the US office of ING Investment Management to resume his responsibilities as executive vice president of structured assets, loans and alternatives.

Global law firm K&L Gates has expanded its Boston office with the recent additions of two new partners, Mark L. Johnson and Paulo J. Marnoto and eight new associates. Johnson joins the firm’s corporate securities and finance practice from Cooley, while Marnoto joins the firm’s private equity and fund formation practice from Ropes & Gray.

Growth investor Lighter Capital has named Molly Gregg Otter as vice president. Otter was previously a vice president at AEA Investors. Lighter Capital is a venture-backed, non-bank investor based in Seattle.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management has appointed David Mook as chief private banking officer for U.S. Bank Wealth Management. He reports to Mark Jordahl, president of U.S. Bank Wealth Management, and is a member of the wealth management executive committee.
