BlackArch Partners, a mid-market investment bank in Charlotte, North Carolina, said that Joanne Verkuilen has joined the firm as director of marketing and digital strategy. Most recently, Verkuilen was vice president of investor relations for Conversus Capital.

Keval Shah has resigned from Citigroup as co-head of the financial institutions group syndicate, based in London, to join UK lender Lloyds Bank to take up the role of head of financial and corporate syndicate, Reuters reported.

New York-based CTGrowth Partners has named John Hagan as a partner. Prior to joining CTGrowth Partners, Hagan founded Savage Partners and Ryan Paige Associates. A unit of CTP Partners, CTGrowth Partners is an executive recruitment firm that focuses on venture capital or private equity-backed companies.

International law firm Edwards Wildman Palmer has opened a new office in Istanbul, Turkey, under the name of Edwards Wildman Dani?manlik Hizmetleri Avukatlik Ortakli?i. The new office will serve as the base from which the firm will advise a broad range of clients on cross-border private equity and corporate-backed M&A transactions throughout the central and eastern Europe, Middle East and northern Africa region and other neighboring markets.

Evercore has named Matthew McAskin as a senior managing director in its healthcare group. Prior to joining Evercore, McAskin was a managing director and co-head of healthcare services investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Evercore is a global investment bank.

Global investment firm Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has named Matt Montana as a managing director and head of equity trading. Prior to joining DeAWM, Montana, who is based in New York, worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he most recently served as a managing director of non-dollar sales and trading.

Investec Specialist Bank has appointed Mikael Busch to the Investec fund finance team. In his new role, Busch will focus on lending to the secondary private equity market and high net worth private equity investors and will report to Simon Hamilton, global head of Investec fund finance.

Damon McLaren has joined Lincoln International as a director in its financial sponsors group. Based in Los Angeles, McLaren will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s relationships with financial sponsors on the West Coast. Previously, McLaren was with Wells Fargo Securities, where he led the firm’s coverage of mid-market financial sponsors on the West Coast.

Gregory J. Suhajda has joined Mackinac Partners as president of the business intelligence division. He is also a Mackinac senior managing director. Suhajda previously was president of Rehmann Corporate Investigative Services. Mackinac is a financial advisory and turnaround management firm.

Manulife Asset Management has named Scott S. Eversole as managing director on its institutional sales team. Eversole, who is based in San Francisco, will be responsible for institutional asset management sales in the western U.S. Based in Toronto, Manulife Asset Management is the global asset management unit of Manulife Financial.

Nela D’Agosta has joined MetLife as a managing director of marketing and investor services for the private capital investors group of MetLife Investment Management. Most recently, D’Agosta was at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was a senior relationship manager.

Xavier Moreels and Nigel Daly have joined Oppenheimer Europe, a unit of Oppenheimer Holdings. Moreels and Daly will establish Oppenheimer’s European technology and telecoms investment banking franchise. Moreels joins Oppenheimer as a managing director and European head of technology and telecoms, Investment Banking, while Daly is executive director of technology and telecoms. Most recently, Moreels was at ING Group, where he was global TMT sector head. Daly joined Piper Jaffray in 2006 as a director in its European technology investment banking team, before leaving in 2009 to set up his own advisory boutique.

Park Madison Partners has named Carrie W. Coulson as a principal. Coulson previously was a director at MVision Private Equity Advisors. Based in New York, Park Madison Partners is a real estate placement and advisory firm that focuses on real estate private equity.

The Spaulding Group, a provider of investment performance measurement products and services, has appointed Mark Goodey to the position of associate for European business development.

St. Charles Capital has hired Michael D. Richter as a principal in its financial services group. Previously, Richter served as a managing director in the SBIC funds group at Commerce Street Capital. Based in Denver, Colorado, St. Charles Capital is a mid-market investment banking firm.

Merchant bank Three Ocean Partners has named Jennifer Doré Russo as partner. Russo will focus on the consumer and retailing sector. Most recently, she was the head of the consumer/retail practice at boutique investment banking firm Sonenshine Partners.

Tikehau Group, a Paris-based provider of private debt financing products, has added CĂ©cile Mayer-Levi to its Paris team and Patrick Marshall to its London office. Mayer-Levi most recently launched and developed the private debt activity at AXA Private Equity. Marshall since 2011 has been a partner of WCAS Fraser Sullivan Investment Management.

Dawn Howe has joined Walkers as a partner in the global investment funds group. Previously, Howe was a partner at Maples and Calder in their Cayman Islands and London offices. Walkers is a finance law firm with an emphasis on investment funds, private equity and capital markets.
