Carl Marks Advisory Group has named Joseph D’Angelo to partner. D’Angelo works with company management as an advisor or interim officer to develop and implement business plans that restore top-line growth and increase enterprise value. He previously served as a principal at XRoads Solutions Group, senior vice president at Platinum Equity, and managing director at Alvarez & Marsal LLC.

Doug Hubert and Don Schaeffer have formed De NES Partners, a boutique mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. They also announced the purchase of the assets of CBIZ Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Investec Specialist Bank has appointed Tim Howson to its corporate lending business. Howson joins the specialist corporate capital team, led by Callum Bell. Howson joins Investec from Jefferies & Co, where he was senior vice president on the lveraged finance team.

Global law firm Reed Smith has appointed leveraged finance partner Ben Davis to its UK finance practice. Davis previously practiced at Travers Smith. His practice focuses primarily on leveraged finance; he also advises on corporate facilities, refinancings, debt restructurings and general banking matters.

Global law firm Willkie Farr Gallagher has named Kirk A. Radke as a partner in its private equity practice group. Radke has represented numerous private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.
