Global management consulting firm Accenture has added Paula A. Price and Frank K. Tang to its board of directors. Price is the former executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ahold USA, while Tang is CEO and managing partner of FountainVest Partners, a China-focused private equity fund.

Los Angeles-based investment bank B. Riley has hired Steve Reiner as a managing director and head of consumer investment banking. Previously, Reiner worked at Skechers USA, where he served as senior vice president of strategy and business development.

GE Capital International has hired Robert Plehn as its new capital markets leader. The appointment becomes effective July 1. Plehn joins GE Capital International from Lloyds Banking Group, where he most recently served as head of its asset backed solutions team.

Investment bank Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc has named Robert “Bert” Hazlett as a managing director of equity research covering biopharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Ladenburg, Hazlett worked at ROTH Capital Partners, where he served as a senior research analyst covering the biotech and emerging pharmaceutical sectors.

Mercer has added Jennifer Jakubowski and Ken Weinberger to its North America private equity M&A team. Jakubowski joins Mercer from Bridgewater Associates, where she served as program manager, retirement programs. Weinberger was a senior vice president at Aon Hewitt, where he led the Chicago M&A practice. A subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan, Mercer is a global human resources and financial services consulting firm.

Sean E. Hayes and Edward (Ted) F. Ughetta have joined Nixon Peabody’s private equity team. The law firm advises institutional investors, private equity funds and portfolio companies globally.
