SLIPE boosts team

In anticipation of an increased workload with its second fund-of-funds see evcj fund news this issue Standard Life Investments has strengthened its private equity team with the appointments of Craig Williamson, Roland Brinkman and Roger Pim. The team now has a total of 11 professionals. Williamson was previously finance director of Landal GreenParks in the Netherlands and gained extensive private equity experience with both Charterhouse Development Capital and Vista Capital de Expansion in Spain.

Brinkman was previously a senior manager for global strategy consulting company, Bain & Company and associate director in the corporate finance division of Swiss Bank Corporation.

Pim was previously an analyst in the financial sponsors group at Goldman Sachs International where he worked on M&A transactions for private equity firms and was responsible for the origination and analysis of investment opportunities.
