Apax Partners has entered exclusive talks to sell French jeweler Histoire d’Or to PPM Capital, according to reports. The deal is expected to be valued at around e230 million, and had attracted interest from Advent International and Sagard.

Audax Group has acquired Broadcast Electronics from Thompson Street Capital Partners for more than $100 million. Harris Williams advised served as advisor to Broadcast Electronics, a Quincy, Ill.-based provider of equipment and software solutions to the broadcast radio market.

Bridgepoint has agreed to acquire a controlling position in French optician Alian Afflelou SA for e487.5 million from Apax Partners and company management. Gores Technology Group is looking to sell Belgium-based Real Software NV, according to reports.

CDC Entreprises Capital has agreed to acquire French jewelry and watch retailer Marc Orian from the founding Krief family (75% ownership) and Credit Agricole Private Equity (25%). Reports put the price at around e140 million, including leverage.

Duke Street Capital is putting U.K. residential care company Paragon Healthcare back on the block, according to reports. The original auction bids came in at around GBP300 million (lower than the GBP350 million asking price), but Duke Street is asking those earlier bidders like Apax Partners and Consensus Business Group to resubmit offers.

Mid Europa Partners has acquired WG Global Inc. from Bard Capital Group. WG Group is a provider of surface preparation and finishing equipment, and was acquired Bard from U.S. Filter Corp. in 2003. Other selling shareholders include First Atlantic Capital, Hunt Capital, The GlenRock Group and CapitalSource. Lehman Brothers and Legacy Partners advised WG Group on the sale.

Nautic Partners has acquired Oasis Outsourcing LLC from H.I.G. Capital for an undisclosed amount. Oasis is a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based professional employer organization.
