Energy Future Holdings Corp. (f.k.a. TXU) has completed its sale of a 19.75 percent stake in Oncor Electric Delivery Co., operator of the largest electricity distribution and transmission system in Texas, to a private equity consortium co-led by Borealis Infrastructure Management and GIC Special Investments. The deal was valued at approximately $1.25 billion.

Kirtland Capital Partners has completed its sale of Essex Crane Rental Corp. to Hyde Park Acquisition Corp. for $210 million. Essex provides lattice-boom crawler cranes and attachments, and was acquired by Kirtland in May 2000. Hyde Park is a blank check acquisition company that has changed its name to Essex Crane Rental Corp., and will seek a Nasdaq listing.

Priori Group reportedly has held talks with three buyout firms – Apax Partners, Blackstone Group and KKR – about bidding for Four Seasons, the UK’s third-largest nursing home operator. RBS currently owns Four Seasons, via last year’s acquisition of ABN Amro.

Temasek Holdings has formed a short-list of bidders for its third sale of power assets, which is expected to raise upwards of $2.5 billion. Arcapita and CLP Holdings are among the short-listed bidders.
