T-Venture loses head of mobile fund

Dr. Axel Kolb has resigned from T-Venture, the venture capital arm of German mobile giant Deutsche Telekom, where he was a managing director and head of the T-Mobile Venture Fund.

He will be succeeded as MD by Patrick Meisberger, who has been with the corporate venture business since April 2004, joining as an investment manager for the online fund before taking charge of it in November 2006, and at the end of 2008 became head of the new Connected Life and Work Fund, which invests in internet and media start-ups.

Stephan Noll is taking over Kolb’s role as head of the T-Mobile Venture Fund. He joined as an analyst in October 2000 before moving to the T-Mobile Venture Fund as

investment manager in October 2003, and has worked as the managing director of the American arm in Seattle since November 2004.
