Munich-based venture capital house, Target Partners, has promoted Olaf Jacobi as partner.
As a veteran entrepreneur, and an angel investor in technology and start-up companies, Jacobi was recruited by Target two years ago.
Prior to joining the firm, he invested as a business angel in IT and internet companies. In 2005, he founded Collax, a provider of Linux Server Systems for companies. He held the position of CEO until 2006.
Before 2005, the recently promoted partner was an investor and CSO at Cabion, an IT and security software which was sold in 2004 to USS Internet Security Systems in Atlanta, Georgia.
