Venturefest in its eight year

Venturefest 2006 will take place on 3 and 4 July at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, a new venue for the event. The conference this year includes presentations Tim Smit, chief executive and founder of the Eden Project and Doug Richard, founder and chairman of Library House, and currently appearing in BBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Full programme information and registration details are available at the event website: As well as sessions on attracting funds and key pointers for starting and developing a business, this year’s programme will use a combination of traditional presentations and theatre, film and role play to focus on the best ways of sourcing, leading and managing a successful team. An international track will examine how to exploit business opportunities offered by emerging enterprise giants, India and China.
