Waterland names German head

He was in charge of divestituring non-core participations, managing an intensive restructuring program for the core business and repositioning the PMT division.

From 2000 to 2001 he was CFO for technology-driven myToys.de in charge of securing growth financing and IPO-preparation, as well as building an adequate administrative support structure. Between 1995 and 2000 he worked as engagement manager at McKinsey & Company Inc (Munich) focusing on high level consultancy projects for leading European companies in the logistic and finance industry.

Waterland has also recruited Ir. B.F. Dessing as an adviser to the investment team in the care sector. A former president of the executive committee of health insurance company VGZ-IZA-Trias and a member of the advisory council of the Dutch Care Authority, Dressing started is career in the Dutch Ministry of Water Management and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. His experience in the care sector started in 1983 when he became director of economics and a member of the executive committee of the Academic Hospital Groningen (AZG). From 1987 until 1993 he was director general of the St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein, and then became president of VGZ, which merged in 2006 with UNIVÉ. Dessing recently retired from this company.
