Former chief executive officer of German media company Bertelsmann, Mark Wsner, has been appointed chairman of the European advisory board of eVolution. A global venture capital firm, focusing on working with corporate partners to build new, independent businesses, eVolution was founded in April 2000 by Bain & Company, Texas Pacific Group and Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers. The company’s first investment was in Levelseas, a joint venture between BP Amoco, Cargill, Royal Dutch/Shell and Clarksons.
