Yoox floats

Balderton Capital’s Yoox has listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, the first Italian IPO for almost two years.

The IPO was priced at €4.3 per share, at the top of its €3.6 to €4.5 offer range, valuing the company €260m.

Yoox is an online fashion retailer founded in 2000 and received start-up investment from Net Partners. Balderton became the largest institutional shareholder in 2002, with 360° Capital Partners also investing.

All the VC backers have sold part of their stake, but Balderton remains the largest shareholder.
