Duane Mason has decided to retire from Boston-based Prism Venture Partners, which he co-founded in 1996. Mason said last week that his decision was mostly based on age, and that he will continue to sit on at least some of his current portfolio company boards. As previously reported, Prism is in the midst of raising its fifth fund, with a final close expected within the next month or two.
