Albemarle to float Home Entertainment

Albemarle Private Equity has appointed Teather & Greenwood to assist in the flotation of Home Entertainment on the London stock exchange’s Alternative Investment Market. Albemarle, which typically invests in small buyouts and expansion situations, first invested in Home Entertainment, the UK video rental chain, in the late 1980s.

Teather & Greenwood will not be issuing a prospectus until late September when the float price will be finalised. Home Entertainment, which is approximately 30% owned by Albemarle Private Equity with the management holding the remainder, is not expected to launch its IPO until late October.
