Alternative appointment for Citigroup

Citigroup Germany has installed Mathias Giebken as head of institutional sales Germany and Austria, for alternative investments.

Giebken will cover various products, focusing on private equity, real estate, structured investment vehicles and hedge funds. Working out of the Frankfurt and London offices, he will report to Philip Anker, head of institutional sales and marketing for Citigroup Alternative Investments (CAI) Europe and Stefan Mühlheim, board member of Citigroup Global Markets Deutschland AG & Co. KGaA.

Giebken joins the firm from Auda Deutschland where he was a managing director, responsible for institutional sales of alternative investments to insurance companies, pension funds, corporates and financial institutions.
