Amadeus recruits VPs

Amadeus Capital Partners, the technology investor, has introduced the Silicon Valley function of the Venture Partner to its team, recruiting two experienced executives from industry, Francois Stieger and Simon Cornwell, to work alongside the investment team.

The venture partner works closely with portfolio companies assisting and advising on operational matters ranging from recruitment and strategy to the development and negotiation of alliances. Venture Partners usually have first hand experience of building and running successful businesses and work alongside investment teams, providing additional hands-on support to fledgling businesses.

Stieger joins Amadeus from BroadVision, the world’s leading e-business applications software company, where he was vice president and general manager in charge of operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.

Cornwell joins from Two Way TV, which he co-founded and where he was CEO. Two Way TV is the world leader in digital interactive television games and entertainment. Cornwell had previously worked with Granada Group and Boston Consulting Group.
