Private equity firm Apax Partners has made four promotions within its investment team based in Paris.
The recently promoted include Mattieu Cocq, Guillaume Cousseran, Franck Legoux and Olivier Personnaz, who all joined Apax in 2006 as senior associates, have now been promoted to principals.
Cocq started his career as a strategy consultant for Braxton Associates in Paris. He then joined Time Warner and worked in the corporate finance department of Goldman Sachs.
Cousseran worked as an analyst and then an analyst in Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking team, prior to joining Apax.
Legoux started his career as a project manager at Business & Decision, an IT consulting company. He also worked in the management consultancy at McKinsey & Company in Paris.
Lastly, Personnaz also worked with McKinsey & Company on behalf of large financial services and transportation companies in Europe and Latin America.
The new promotions bring the tally of the Paris-based investment team to 28.
