Marina Fariba and Peter McLoughlin have been promoted to partner in the London office of Pinsent Curtis Biddle. Fariba specialises in advising private equity funds and the companies in which they invest. Fariba previously worked in-house at 3i and left to join Pinsent Curtis Biddle in 1999.
McLoughlin is a corporate finance specialist with wide experience of advising on equity and debt fundings, flotations, acquisitions and joint ventures. He joined from Clifford Chance in 1996. He has particular experience of takeovers and reconstructions and public to private transactions.
Duncan Reid has returned to the firm having spent two years in-house at 3i working in its legal department and concentrating on the technology sector working alongside venture capital and co-investors. Reid’s return boosts Pinsent Curtis Biddle’s technology and media group.
