Barclays Ventures sells PropertyFlow stake

Barclays Ventures has sold its minority share in PropertyFlow, a UK provider of publicly-held land and property data, to MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA) for an undisclosed sum.

The exit comes less than a year after Barclays Ventures took its stake in the Kent-based business and has generated an IRR of 208%.

Barclays Ventures took its substantial minority stake in June 2005, when the company was known as SearchFlow. It employs 90 people with a turnover of around £48m. The management team will run the combined entity formed by the merger with MDA’s Transaction Online business.
