Big changes at CP Eaton

US-headquartered placement agent CP Eaton Partners has appointed two new leaders to control its operations in Europe and Asia and promoted three executives.

Based in London, Franklyn Chang will be responsible for the firm’s European operations and will manage a team of five.

He has been an equity member and managing director at CP Eaton for over two years and has over 13 years of institutional sales and operational experience at the firm. Prior to Eaton, he was managing director at Farrell Marsh.

David Love will head-up the firm’s Asian operations and will be based in Shanghai. He is responsible for fund selection, project management and fund distribution.

Love has over 41 years of investment management experience and has spent the past decade working for Eaton. Prior to joining the firm, he was an investment analyst and senior vice president with H.C. Wainwright & Co.

Dawn Rinaldi and Peter Martenson have been appointed equity members at the firm. Rinaldi is the current chief operating and financial officer of the firm and has over 21 years of experience in financial services. Martenson has over 18 years of experience in diversified management and was previously a managing director with Macquarie Funds Management.

Lastly, Jeffrey Eaton, the son of founding partner Charles Eaton, has been made director at the firm. Prior to Eaton, he was a director at Constellation Energy Commodities Group.
