CapMan has made three appointments to its new Oslo office. They are senior partner Kai Jordahl, investment director Erik Berger and investment manager Hans Tindlund. Berger started in the technology business unit on January 1 and Jordahl and Tindlund start in the buyout business unit on April 1.
Berger has vast experience in Norway’s venture capital market. Prior to joining CapMan he was a partner at TeleVenture Management, where he was investment manager and chief financial officer of Telenor Venture VC funds. He was previously responsible for the fund’s investment activities and financial management.
Jordahl worked as an investment director for the past five years at Industrifinans forvaltning ASA and, following its acquisition by ABN AMRO, Alfred Berg Industrifinans. He has also held various senior positions at McKinsey & Company, Norsk Hydro and the Norwgeian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. He will be responsible for office operations at CapMan’s Oslo office as well as buyout investment activities in Norway.
Tindlund transfers to CapMan from the investment bank H&Q Norden Fondsmeglerforretning, where he was an associate director of corporate finance in the technology sector. He previously held positions at McKinsey & Company, UBS Warburg and Nera.
