Placement agents Capstone Partners and Palomar Capital Advisors have merged, forming Capstone Palomar Partners. The new firm has a team of 12 principals and a total of 20 professional staff, spread across the US and Europe. The responsibilities for distribution will not change under the new structure, with each principal maintaining their respective investor relationships in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Richard Bowman, founding partner of Capstone, said: “Today’s leading private equity fund manager is looking for diversity in their LP base both in terms of investor type and geography. Under this new structure, we will maintain our traditional approach of deep involvement with a few select GPs, while extending the reach of that approach to all the world’s investment centres.”
