Carlyle Group Says Fund Values Up 7% In Q1

Carlyle Group described its carry funds as its buyout funds, growth capital funds, real asset funds and distressed debt and mezzanine funds where it earns carried interest if the fund returns exceed their hurdle rates. The designation excludes certain funds, such as its structured credit funds, hedge funds and funds-of-funds vehicles, among others.

The firm plans to announce first quarter financial results on May 13.
