Changes at Private Equity

Dominik Meyer is taking over from Hans-Peter Bachmann as the new chief executive officer of Private Equity Holding AG. The appointment was announced at an extraordinary meeting, where Ulrich Geilinger was named deputy chief executive officer. Both executives have for several years been members of the managing team of the private equity department.

As private equity investment advisor with Bank Vontobel AG, Zurich, Meyer was predominantly involved in evaluating and structuring private equity fund and direct investments. He also led and structured the buyout of a Swiss developer and real estate company which was subsequently listed in the Swiss stock exchange. Prior to Vontobel, he was the head of treasury and risk management consulting group at Arthur Andersen, Zurich and Chicago.

Geilinger was previously at Apax Partners. Before that, he was a member of senior management at Credit Suisse Group, responsible for buyout and private equity fund investments. He started his career in private equity in 1987 as a partner of Innoventure.
