However, that is only a slim plurality (22 percent) as there has been a wide range of fund sizes in the market since then. Funds over $1 billion in size and those that raised less than $30 million each represent 17 percent, and funds between $300 million and $500 million constitute 15 percent of buyout funds raised since 2009.
