Chart of the Week: New Jersey leads 22 pensions in PE performance over three years

For the second year in a row, Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board is the top pension fund for five-year annualized performance. However, the New Jersey Division of Investment has the momentum, with a slight lead over its northern counterpart for the last three years.

MassPRIM also had the highest one- and 10-year return percentages. The latest ranking of private equity program performance by the Private Equity Growth Capital Council includes 22 pensions. The accompanying table shows the top five by five-year annualized returns.
