Close Bros management reshuffle

Grainger, who will become executive vice-chairman, said: “I have hugely enjoyed my time as CEO and the successes we have had as a business. I now plan to turn my attention to further developing our senior level relationships and new business generation. We have much to offer companies at all stages of their life cycles and part of my new role will entail raising corporate awareness of these capabilities at the highest levels.”

In addition, Mike Wheeler, the ex-global managing partner of KPMG Financial Advisory Services, will be joining Close Brothers Corporate Finance as non-executive chairman. Matthew Prest, a managing director in European special situations, will become head of that group.
