Cognos Acquires Celequest

Cognos (Nasdaq: COGN) has acquired Celequest Corp., a Redwood City, Calif.-based provider of operational business intelligence solutions. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which closed on Monday. Celequest had raised around $17 million in VC funding from Bay Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners. www.cognos.com www.celequest.com
