Corporate venturing appt

Nick Cox has been appointed director of Corporate Venturing UK, a new organisation set up to promote corporate venturing in the UK and to create a national market for those seeking corporate venturing deals see venture capital news this issue.

Former head of flight test engineering at British Aerospace, Cox has worked as a consultant since 1994, advising private and public sector organisations on innovation, early stage finance and technology management. His major projects included an EU programme to assist technology-based businesses and a UK Department of Trade and Industry service to source technology transfer in the UK Aerospace and Defence sector.
