This is Court Square’s first investment in Rocket, which was founded 19 years ago to develop software solutions to IBM mainframe customers deploying DB2 databse servers
Court Square Capital was formed in 2006 by former members of Citigroup Venture Capital Equity Partners, including Bill Comfort. It is currently investing from a $3.13 billion fund raised in 2006.
Rocket Software CEO Andy Youniss did not return calls for comment. Court Square Partner John Kim also declined to comment. —Dan Primack
