Deutsche Bank recruits

Deutsche Bank has added five bankers to its European leveraged finance businesses underlining the bank’s commitment to the leveraged debt market.

David Wood has re-joined Deutsche Bank as a managing director and co-head of leveraged finance after a sabbatical in 2003. Also joining as a co-head is Stephen Pitts. The co-heads report to David Fass, global co-head of debt products. John Sinik joins the leveraged finance team as a director reporting to Wood and Pitts. Sinik moves from Barclays and will initially focus on US sponsor opportunities in Europe.

Nick Gaynor has moved from Goldman Sachs to join Deutsche Bank as a managing director in the European financial sponsor coverage team. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs Gaynor was a managing director in the investment banking division where he was most recently co-head of the European financial sponsor coverage group and prior to that a senior UK coverage banker. Gaynor will report to William Maltby, head of the European financial sponsor group.

Charlotte Seavgrave joins as a managing director in loan capital markets, reporting to Richard Munn, managing director and co-head of loan syndications in Europe. Seagrave moves from JP Morgan where she was in the leverage loan syndicate group. Josefa Llinares joins Deutsche’s loan sales team, also reporting to Munn. Llinares moves from UBS where she was a vice president.
