Duke Street appts German head

Duke Street Capital has appointed a new head of German private equity. Ervin Schellenberg has joined as director, responsible for the firm’s German private equity business. He will be joined by Marco Herbst and John Harper in the German arm of Duke Street Capital.

Schellenberg was previously at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in London, where he successfully built European automotive investment banking. Prior to that he worked in the German M&A teams of WestLB Panmure in London and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt.

Schellenberg started his career at McKinsey & Co offspring PM&P Consulting, a Frankfurt-based strategy consulting boutique, where he helped foreign corporates develop and implement German market entry strategies.
