Dunedin promotes Fraser

Dunedin Capital Partners has promoted Nicol Fraser to director. His promotion to director follows his success as investment director in developing investment opportunities throughout the UK, with a particular focus on the Midlands. This year he led the £21m acquisition of chemicals manufacturer Hickson & Welch and participated in the £116m secondary buyout of specialist photographic retailer Jessops.

Ross Marshall, managing director of Dunedin Capital Partners, said: “He has made a tremendous contribution to our business since he joined us two years ago. I am confident that his experience and reputation in the marketplace will further strengthen our ambitious growth plans.”

Nicol joined Dunedin in 2001 after five years with Bridgepoint Capital, where he was an investment director. Prior to that, he spent six years working in corporate recovery with Scott Oswald, now part of the Tenon group.
