IDT buys video processor

Integrated Device Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: IDTI) has acquired all the assets of San Jose, Calif.-based video processing technology provider Silicon Optix. No financial terms were disclosed. Silicon Optix had raised nearly $120 million in VC funding since 2001 from Canaan Partners, InterWest Partners, RBC Capital, Polaris Venture Partners, Apax Partners, Focus Ventures, iD Ventures America, Primaxis Technology Ventures and Origin Ventures.

IDEX buys Semrock

IDEX Corp.

(NYSE: IEX) has acquired Semrock, a Rochester, N.Y.-based provider of optical filters for biotech and analytical instrumentation in the life sciences markets. The deal was valued at about $60 million in cash. Semrock had raised about $16 million in VC funding from Bluestream Ventures.
