K2 Investment Partners LP of New York is raising $1 billion through a private placement of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $1 million is required on the placement. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $155.97 million from 107 accredited investors. The investment partnership involved in a diversified group of investment entities intends to use the proceeds from the offering for working capital.

Warm Springs Market Neutral LP of Snohomish, Wash., is raising $1 billion through a private placement of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement. At the time of its SEC filling, the fund had already raised just about $500,000 from one accredited investor. The diversified “fund of funds” is investing in several market neutral and trading style strategies whose objective are minimal risk intends to use the proceeds from the offering for investment program/securities.

HIPEP IV-European Buyout Partnership Fund LP of Chicago is raising $514.5 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. There is minimum investment of $10 million required. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised approximately $82.32 million from four accredited investors. The LP formed to make investments in private equity funds intends to use proceeds from the offering for security investments.

BA 2001 Partners Associates Fund LP of Chicago is raising $500 million through a private placement of limited liability company interests. Bank of America, N.A. of Chicago is acting as the agent on the placement. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $58.8 million from 19 accredited investors.
